With rogard to debts due to Danish Schleswigara, or other persons who had acquired a new nationality, by German nationals in respect of businesses formerly carried on by such German nationals in Hong Kong which had been,

250 liquidated, it was agreed that having regard to the provisions of the Treaty and to the fact that it would be extremely difficult to reopen the liquidations in Hong Kong it was reasonable to refer the creditors to their ultimate debtore. The Colonial Office would write officially to the Foreign Office to this effoot.
